It is estimated that by 2030, that percentage will increase to 27%. About 60% of our elders are women.

EAIME was founded as a community coalition in 1995.
Since that time the Institute has sponsored statewide conferences, provided train-the-trainer and workplace training workshops, produced public service announcements and established support groups for older victims of domestic violence.
