Tell me a little about Midcoast Hospital
Mid Coast Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital that provides a variety of high quality health care and wellness services to the Mid Coast Region. It is a part of MaineHealth, the state’s largest health care system.
The Mid Coast Medical Group also offers walk-in clinic care in downtown Brunswick and primary and specialty services in Bath, Brunswick and Topsham. The Addiction Resource Center offers recovery services in the region.
How are you involved in the local community?
Our partnerships in the local community are diverse. Community Health Improvement works tirelessly to meet the needs of our communities, whether it be making health care connections for new Mainers, supporting bike safety or providing vaccine clinics.
Members of the Mid Coast–Parkview Health leadership team are actively engaged as board members of several local non-profits, including the United Way of Mid Coast Maine and the Bath-Brunswick Regional Chamber. We are active in service clubs and support mission-driven organizations that align with the MaineHealth vision of working together so our communities are the healthiest in America.
Why did you choose to become a Cottage Champion?
The Cottage Champions Program aligns with our vision. It is important for Maine seniors to have a safe place to stay while transitioning to a healthier environment free from mistreatment.
