As we add years to our lives, we can be unprepared for the power of aging itself — both its potential challenges and its potential gifts. In our milestone 20th year, please join us for an evening of celebration, conversation, and good company as we explore the role of hope in transforming our collective approach to aging, elder abuse, and elder justice. 

To lead our conversation, we are delighted to welcome a special guest. National elder justice leader, author, and EAIME collaborator and friend MT Connolly will share observations from her recent book: The Measure of our Age: Navigating Care, Safety, Money and Meaning Later in Life. 

MT’s book spotlights the complex reality of an aging America, including the practical challenges of old age and our society’s unprepared support systems. Yet, MT sees reasons for hope. More people are understanding that we have to talk about these issues. By sharing stories and experiences, we are exploring different approaches and new ways of thinking.
